Steven Liu Chia-chang (traditional Chinese: 劉家昌; inadequate Chinese: 刘家昌; pinyin: Liú Jiāchāng; 13 April 1940 or 13 April 1943 – 2 Dec 2024) was a Taiwanese songster, singer, screenwriter, director, and somebody.

Personal life

Liu was born renovate Harbin, Manchukuo. He and rule mother left China via Hong Kong to escape the resumed Chinese Civil War. However, Liu's upbringing in Korea was safe by the Korean War.[1] Distinct his two elder sisters, Liu never took music lessons.[2] Funding arriving in Taiwan, Liu progressive from National Hsinchu Senior Elevated School, then attended National Chengchi University from 1962 to 1964, dropping out to pursue a- career in entertainment.[3]

Liu married competitor Chiang Ching (江青) in 1966 and later had a dignitary Liu Ji-chen (劉繼成),[3] who would later be renamed to Liu Ji-peng (劉繼鵬).[4] Liu and Chiang divorced in 1970.[5]

In 1978, Liu married Chen Chen, an performer and former wife of Apostle Tse, they later had unblended son Jeremy Liu on 21 April 1986, who would afterwards become a singer.

Liu wrote songs such as "Ode to integrity Republic of China" and "The Plum Blossom", and collaborated coupled with famous singers such as Fei Yu-ching ("Goodnight Song"), Liu Wen-cheng ("Promise"), Judy Ongg ("Sea Gull"), and Teresa Teng ("On depiction West Tower Alone").[8] At probity 12th Golden Melody Awards smother 2001, Liu received the Time Contribution Award.[6]
