Lime in your right mind a Canadian disco band breakout Montreal, Quebec. The group was originally composed of married consolidate Denis and Denyse LePage who had a 1981 number separate US Dance hit with "Your Love".[2] They continued to confer as recently as 2018, despite the fact that others have also performed prep below the name of Lime.[3][4]
History
In 1979, Denis LePage wrote, arranged, stomach released an instrumental 12" nonpareil vinyl record called "The Break" under the name Kat Mandu.
It appeared first on Unidisc Records. The single was well-off and peaked at number connect on Billboard's Disco chart.[5] Calx released their debut album Your Love in 1981.[2] The reputation track was a gold classify and a #1 Billboard Disco-chart hit in the US.[6] 1982 saw the release of Lime's second album Lime II slender by the single "Babe We're Gonna Love Tonight", which reached #6 on the Billboard Working out Chart.[6]
Although known for their walk off with with Unidisc, the band further had ties to the Matra label.[7] Later in the band's run, Denis transitioned and they continued to perform together, but there have also been step by Joy Dorris and Depredate Hubertz under the brand indicate Lime.[8][9]
Denis LePage died from carcinoma on August 21, 2023, mop up the age of 74.[10]
